A pair of bears will be brought to Sariska: Sundha Mata leaves for Jalore for the forest officer's team rescue; Permission to bring 4 bears
Tourists will now see tigers, chital and bears along with other wild animals in the Alwar-based Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. Four bears will be released in these centuries by the Forest Department. The team has left Sariska to bring them. These bears will be caught and brought from the Sundha Mata area located in the Jalore district of Rajasthan.
According to Sariska field director RN Meena, a team of officers has left here. This team will rescue the bear from Sundha Mata and Jaswantpura areas in the Jalore-Sirohi area. From there it will bring to Sariska by road. In such a situation, till when the bears will come, it is difficult to say anything at the moment. Because it may take time for the team to rescue the bear.
By bringing a pair of bears, it is expected that their number can also be increased by conserving them. A large number of tourists come to Sariska, and many tourists see tigers and many do not. In such a situation, if tourists see bears, it will be thrilling for them.
According to the sources, the bears which will be rescued and brought, their radio-collar will be installed. So that real-time monitoring of those bears can be done. In the year 2013 too, a bear was rescued and released to Sariska, but then it was not monitored by radio collaring and since then the bear disappeared.
At present bears are found in large numbers in Abu, Jalore area of Jalore and Sirohi. Many times these bears come out of the forests and reach human settlements. For this reason, people here are also at risk of bear attacks. Shifting of such bears will also solve this problem to some extent.
