On Second Rajasthan Visit in Four Months, PM Modi to Unveil Projects Across Energy, Water, and Infrastructure Sectors

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce several significant projects for Rajasthan during his visit to Banswara today, marking his second trip to the state in four months. His previous visit was on May 22nd, following Operation Sindoor, when he visited the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok, Bikaner. CM Bhajan Lal Sharma will soon depart from Jaipur Airport to Udaipur to welcome the Prime Minister. Today, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the 2800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project (₹42,000 crore) and a 590 MW renewable energy project (Rs 8,500 crore) in Bikaner district.

Additionally, he will lay the foundation for 15 GW of power transmission lines (Rs 13,183 crore) across Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sirohi, Nagaur, and Bikaner; 15 drinking water projects (Rs 5,884 crore) in multiple districts; two flyovers in Bharatpur; a bridge over the Banas River; 119 Atal Pragati Paths (Rs 878 crore); and three 220 kV GSSs with related lines (Rs 348 crore) in Bikaner and Jaisalmer districts. 

PM Modi will arrive at Udaipur Airport at 12:35 pm., where he will be received by Governor Haribhau Bagde, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Rajasthan BJP in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, and other leaders. He will then depart at 12:40 pm from Udaipur via helicopter to Mahi Helipad in Banswara, arriving by 1:30 pm.
