Now Fortune will sell wheat along with flour, Adani Wilmar's new masterstroke
Gautam Adani's FMCG company Adani Wilmar's Fortune will now sell not only flour but also wheat. The company will sell the country's high-quality wheat like Sharbati Purna 1544 variety of wheat. At present, the wheat of the company will be available in Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
Industrialist Gautam Adani's FMCG company Adani Wilmar has now forayed into the wheat category with its brand Fortune. This means that Adani Wilmar's Fortune brand will now sell whole wheat along with atta.
Adani Wilmar said in a regulatory filing that wheat varieties such as Sharbati, Poorna 1544, Lokwan, and MP Grade 1 under the Fortune brand will be available in Delhi, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan under the Fortune brand.
The company said that families in the west and north of the country choose wheat varieties very carefully and prefer to buy them from neighborhood stores. Fortune Brands will try to provide the same convenience to the customers.
