An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 hit Nongpoh in Meghalaya on Thursday afternoon. Through the official X handle (Twitter) of the National Center for Seismology, it was informed that the epicenter of the earthquake was 40 km away from Nongpoh at a depth of 10 km.
Let us tell you that two days ago strong tremors of a 5.4 magnitude earthquake were felt near Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the earthquake was 49 km southeast of Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. Its center was at a depth of 16 kilometers from the Earth.
