Hubli Tigers won the fifth match of the Maharaja Trophy 2025 against Bengaluru Blasters by two wickets. With this, the Tigers have won their second consecutive match this season and reached the top of the points table. The team of Bengaluru Blasters had lost the first game of the season against Mysore Warriors. Since then, the team has endured its second consecutive loss. Blasters are last in the points table. Meanwhile, the Hubli Tigers team also won their first game against Shivamogga Lions by 29 runs.
Having lost the toss, the Bengaluru Blasters bat first and added 225 runs, losing six wickets. The team lost its first wicket in the name of LR Chetan (23) for just 36 runs. Following this, Rohan Patil attempted to manage the team by forming a 47-run partnership for the second wicket with Mayank Agarwal. Rohan Patil returned to the pavilion after scoring 80 runs in 43 balls with the help of five sixes and eight fours, while Suraj Ahuja added 27 runs to the team's account.
