Mahedi Hasan broke Harbhajan Singh's 13-year-old record, Bangladesh created history by winning the series

Bangladesh off-spinner Mahedi Hasan shattered Harbhajan Singh's 13-year-old record in the third T20 International at the R Premadasa Stadium here in Colombo. He is the record holder for best bowling by an overseas bowler.

In the third T20 match against Sri Lanka, Mehdi bowled extremely rarely. He removed 4 wickets for 11 runs in his 4-overs quota at an economy of 2.80. Mahedi broke former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh's 4 overs, 12 runs, 4 wickets record against England in the 2012 Men's T20 World Cup.
