Lexus LM MPV teaser released, being prepared for business class
The company hasn't revealed the engines yet but the automaker has confirmed that the model could come with a 2.4-litre in-line four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid motor. Its price in the Indian market can be around Rs 1 crore. Apart from the right, the company will also give its steering to the left side so that it can be sold in the European markets.
Lexus India has released the teaser of its upcoming premium SUV, which is all set to be launched in India. Earlier this premium car was seen at the Auto Expo. The Lexus LM is now in its second generation, which is based on the Toyota Vellfire MPV, which was recently launched in India. The second-generation LM MPV was showcased a few months ago at this year's Shanghai Auto Show. Let's know what was seen in the teaser?
The new Lexus LM is equipped with airline-style recliner seats, 48-inch widescreen TVs, a premium, 23-speaker surround-sound audio system, and pillow-style headrests. Passengers also get a fold-out table, multiple USB ports, a wireless phone charger, a reading light and vanity mirror, a fridge, a rear glovebox, and an umbrella holder. It gets all the features that make its cabin business class.
At present, the LM luxury car has been a China-only model and now in the global debut of its second generation, the company will give its steering apart from the right side as well as the left side, so that it can be sold in the European markets. The new LM, which stands for Luxury Mover, is now specially designed for customers who are not looking for a chauffeur-driven SUV.
