An encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. So far one terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter in the Baskuchan Imamsahib area. There is still the news of one terrorist being in hiding. The search operation of the security forces is going on in the area.
ADGP Kashmir said that the slain terrorist was associated with the terrorist organization of Lashkar-e-Taiba. He has been identified as Naseer Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Naupora Baskuchan Shopian. An AK-47 rifle, several arms and ammunition have been recovered from him. Police said he was involved in several terror crimes and had recently escaped from an encounter.
Two days ago i.e. on 30 September, security forces killed two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in Baramulla. SSP Baramulla Rais Mohammad Bhat told that these terrorists were planning to attack the Agniveer recruitment rally going on in Baramulla. He was given a target to fail the recruitment rally. A large number of youth have come to participate in this rally.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also going to visit Jammu and Kashmir on October 4-5. They will be in Rajouri on October 4 and Baramulla on October 5. 7 terrorists have been killed in 5 days in Jammu and Kashmir before Amit Shah's visit.
Operation all out is going on in the valley. Earlier on Tuesday, two Jaish terrorists were killed by security forces in Ahwatu of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier on Monday night, security forces had killed a terrorist in the Wes Batpora area of Kulgam.
The terrorist has been identified as Abu Huraira, a resident of Pakistan, he was a category A terrorist of Jaish. An army jawan and two civilians were also injured in this encounter. All three were admitted to the hospital for treatment. In this way, from Monday to Friday, 3 Jaish terrorists have been killed in Kulgam and 2 in Baramulla.
