Surprising news has come out from the Thrissur district of Kerala. Actually, here a husband murdered his wife for suspecting her of infidelity. At present, the accused has been arrested by the police and a case has been registered under appropriate sections.

A 56-year-old man allegedly thrashed his wife to death on suspicion of infidelity on Friday, police said. Accused Unnikrishnan was working abroad for some time. He said the accused allegedly committed the crime three days after he returned to the country.

Police said that after killing his 46-year-old wife, the accused reached Viyur police station in the early hours of Friday and surrendered. "He was abroad and reached Kerala on August 8," said a police officer. He told that the accused had confessed to the crime.

Police said he was suspicious of his wife's activities and assaulted her after accusing her of cheating. Meanwhile, one day the argument between them escalated and the accused husband killed his wife by beating her.

At present, the police are probing the matter and interrogating people and relatives around. Police said that action has been initiated against the accused husband after registering a case under various sections.
