Jaipur crime branch caught 1 crore ganja: smuggled from Odisha to Rajasthan

Jaipur Crime Branch has seized illegal ganja worth Rs 1 crore. Hemp was smuggled from Orissa in a closed container and brought to Rajasthan. A secret cabin was made in the container for smuggling hemp. Crime Branch has arrested the interstate drug smuggler. From whose possession a container filled with 353 KG ganja has been seized. The market value of the seized hemp is said to be around Rs 1 crore.

Commissioner (First) Kailash Chand Vishnoi said that Rajendra Kumar (25), son of Prakash Chand, resident of Udei Khurd Piloda Sawai Madhopur, accused of smuggling the illegal drug Ganja, has been arrested. Crime Branch Constable Driver Bhanwar Singh received information that the narcotic drug Ganja from Orissa was being smuggled from Odisha to Rajasthan in a closed container. Smuggler Rajendra Kumar will empty the consignment of Ganja in his village Udei Kalan. On information, the Crime Branch team raided Sawai Madhopur and seized a container full of cannabis. Behind the driver's seat of the closed-body container, there is a secret cabin, whose mouth opens like the top. 353 KG ganja was found in the container. The crime branch arrested the smuggler Rajendra and seized the cannabis along with the container. The value of the seized ganja is around Rs 1 crore.
During interrogation, the accused said that he used to transport the container vehicle by affixing a fast tag of the number of another truck. During smuggling, the accused used to keep his mobile number switched off. In Orissa, Sameer Baliarsi has opened a hotel in the name of a Rajasthani hotel at Munnigudha. In the guise of which illegal drug smuggles hemp. He has been doing ganja smuggling for the last two years. He goes to Odisha in one and a half to two months. 8-10 quintals of hemp are brought at the rate of Rs 2500-3000 per kg. Sells to suppliers at Rs 8-9 thousand per kg. He was told to sell large quantities of cannabis to Mahesh Malavat resident Kanota, Rajesh Gurjar resident Nadauti Karauli, Bhura alias Bhuri Sharma resident Kalyanji Mandir Gate Gangapur City, Rameshi alias Sugli resident Nadauti Karauli, Sethi Harijan resident Gangapur City, Piplya Mahawar resident Dausa.
