The Indian team defeated South Africa by 9 wickets to win the second consecutive title in the final of the ICC Under 19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025. In the title match, South Africa batted first and scored just 82 runs after losing all the wickets in 20 overs. Team India easily achieved the target of 83 runs by losing just one wicket and became the world champion for the second time. The first edition of this tournament was won by India in South Africa and this time India won the title by defeating the South African team.

South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. In preparation for the final match, both of them hadn't yet been beaten in this edition till then. South Africa could not make a strong beginning in this match and Parunika Sisodia handed them a blow at a mere 11 runs. In no time, South Africa lost 5 wickets for 44 runs. Indian spinners did not give any chance to the opposing team to recover and the entire team was all out for 82 runs. For India, Gongdi Trisha took 3 wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs, while Ayushi, Vaishnavi, and Parunika took 2-2 wickets.

The Indian team, which came out to chase the target of 83 runs, had a great start but Kamalini was out in the 5th over. After this, Gongdi Trisha and Sanika Chalke scored runs rapidly and easily took the Indian team to the target. India won the ICC Under 19 Women's T20 World Cup title for the second consecutive time. In 2023, Team India won the title under the captaincy of Shefali Verma.
