With this victory, India's silver medal in the Asian Games is confirmed. India will face the winner of the Afghanistan and Pakistan match in the final.

In this match, Indian captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bat first. Bangladeshi batsmen could not stand against the Indian bowlers and could score only 96 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. For Bangladeshi, Zakir Ali scored 24 not out and Parvez Hussain scored 23 runs. Apart from these two, only Rakibul Hasan (14 runs) could cross the double figures.
