Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday extended an invitation to famous people of the entertainment industry to visit his state and learn more about it as a film-friendly location.

The Chief Minister addressed the Bollywood community in Mumbai, saying, "We have elected two of your film industry colleagues as MPs and we are aware of the problems you confront and what needs to be done. The nation's unity and sovereignty are preserved and the society is vitally unified by cinema.

Mr. Adityanath, who is in Mumbai to promote an investor summit that will be held in Lucknow next month, claimed that Uttar Pradesh has established itself as a film-friendly state, and both the National Film Awards and the International Film Festival of India have recognised this (IFFI).

In addition to a secure environment, the northern state, according to him, offers good connection.

The Chief Minister declared that a web series that is filmed in Uttar Pradesh will receive a 50% subsidy under his administration's film strategy. The establishment of studios and film labs also receives a 25% subsidy.

Participants included actor and Gorakhpur Lok Sabha MP Ravi Kishen, producer Boney Kapoor, Bhojpuri actor Dinesh Lal Nirhua, playback singers Sonu Nigam and Kailash Kher, actor Suniel Shetty, and directors Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Rajkumar Santoshi.
