IIHMR Start-ups Partners with Rajasthan Government to Boost IT and Innovation Ecosystem
The aim of this collaboration is to help nurture early stage and student led start ups in the state and create a vibrant innovation ecosystem in the State.
Jaipur: A landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a platform for incubating and promoting IIHMR innovate solutions in Digital Industry has been signed by IIHMR Start-ups, a leading initiative of IIHMR Foundation, with the Department of Information Technology and Communication (DOIT&C), Government of Rajasthan. The aim of this collaboration is to help nurture early stage and student led start ups in the state and create a vibrant innovation ecosystem in the State.
Announcing the partnership, IIHMR Start ups took the center stage during the Rising Rajasthan Information Technology & Start up pre summit that enabled various IIHMR Start ups to showcase their commitment to formative transformative initiatives in Rajasthan’s entrepreneurial landscape. A core part of the event was a panel discussion that featured industry experts and thought leaders speaking on how Rajasthan is positioned to become a national champion in technology and innovation through a discussion titled Building Rajasthan as an IT & Innovation Hub.
This MoU, said Dr. P.R. Sodani, Director of IIHMR Foundation, is a significant step toward innovation and fitting very well into our vision of empowering healthcare start ups in Rajasthan leading to a more innovation driven economy.
According to Mr. Puneet Datta, CEO, IIHMR Foundation, the wider impact of this initiative is, “Our mission is to build a strong ecosystem of entrepreneurs and ensure sustainable employment.” "We see this MoU as a key building block towards realizing that vision.”
With a 40 strong history in healthcare and her knowledge of being a specialist incubator, IIHMR Startups is definitely in the best position to spearhead healthcare innovation. The partnership is expected to help generate groundbreaking solutions, address key healthcare sector challenges and enhance the state of Rajasthan’s start-up ecosystem to transform it.
By being together, these collaboration promotes the bright future of innovation and entrepreneurship in Rajasthan, leading the state to become IT and healthcare innovation hub.
