A Swift car and a motorcycle have also been seized from the accused. They were being used in smuggling and other crimes. Many important information has come to light during interrogation.
According to the police, the gang is likely to have links with Punjab and other border states. Constable Ashwini of the District Special Team played an important role in this operation. This gang was caught due to his vigilance. DIG Gaurav Yadav said that police vigilance has been increased in sensitive areas like Sri Ganganagar. Strict action will be taken against every person involved in drug and weapon smuggling.

Kotwali police station has seized a Swift car along with five foreign pistols, 330 grams of heroin and more than 29 live cartridges. The accused include Devendra Bhambhu (29) son of Chunnilal Bhambhu resident of Waterworks Colony, Subhash (21) alias Ankit son of Omprakash resident of 6A Police Station Sadar, and Satnam (25) alias Gurvinder son of Gurmeet resident of 6A Sri Ganganagar. At present, interrogation of all three is going on.
