Heavy rain warning in six districts of the state, schools closed from class one to 8
Rajasthan Weather Update Today: A Heavy to very heavy rain warning has been issued in Rajasthan today. After the warning of the Meteorological Department, a holiday has been declared for children from classes one to 8 in schools in 6 districts.
Heavy rains have been persisting in Rajasthan over the past 24 hours. The Meteorological Department states that in view of the influence of pressure in northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjacent south-west Uttar Pradesh, heavy to very heavy rain is expected to persist in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in the next two days.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been witnessed in numerous districts of the state over the past 24 hours. As the IMD predicted very heavy rain, the administration has announced a holiday for schools in Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Ajmer, Bundi, and Rajsamand.
Heavy rains have been witnessed in numerous districts such as Bundi, Rajsamand, Kota, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Dholpur, and Jaipur on Friday. The spell of rain that started in the capital, Jaipur, from late Friday evening is continuing this morning as well. On Saturday also, there is an orange alert for heavy rain in 6 districts (Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali, Ajmer, Sirohi, Jalore). At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for eight districts.
