Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra's Instagram account closed, has over 3.77 lakh followers
Jyoti Malhotra: According to investigating agencies, Malhotra's alleged espionage activities from Pakistan started while trying to get a visa there. At the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, she met Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, who is said to be a Pakistani intelligence agent.

Meta has suspended the Instagram handle of Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested for spying for Pakistan. She used to create travel vlog videos on a channel named "Travel with Jo" and she had over 3.77 lakh subscribers on YouTube. While visiting Jyoti's Instagram account, one receives a message Sorry, this page isn't available.
Malhotra is also charged with passing on sensitive information to Pakistani intelligence agencies. The case is said to be part of a wider probe to uncover the network of Pakistani spying in Haryana and Punjab.
According to the investigating agencies, Malhotra's alleged espionage activities from Pakistan started while he was trying to get a visa there. At the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, he met Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, who is said to be a Pakistani intelligence agent.
After this, he traveled to Pakistan several times in 2023 and 2024. These trips were sponsored, and during this time, he grew closer to Danish. During these trips, he uploaded content on YouTube showing Pakistan in a positive light. An investigation has now been started into these trips of Malhotra and his financial transactions. The investigating agencies are trying to find out whether he received any kind of financial assistance from Pakistan.
