German woman killed her lookalike: wanted to dramatize her own death

A 23-year-old woman in Germany is accused of faking her own death by finding and killing her doppelganger on social media. In this case, the German police have given the name 'The Doppelganger Murder'. This matter is of August 16 last year, which has now come to the fore.
Police said that Shahraban K. lives in Munich. The woman named created a fake profile on Instagram and tried to contact many women who looked like her. After searching through several profiles, she found the profile of a cosmetic blogger.
This blogger named Khadidja was an Algerian citizen and lived about 160 km away from the house of the accused woman. Both had long black hair and the complexion was almost the same. Shahraban and her boyfriend Shakir K. contacted Khadidja and offered her some beauty products. After this, both came to pick him up. While returning to Munich with Khadidja, the two stopped the car in a forest and stabbed Khadidja 50 times, police said.
Shahraban had told her husband that she was going to meet her ex-husband. When she did not return for a long time, her parents went out to find her. On the banks of the Danube river, they found Shahbaran's car, in the back seat of which lay the body of a black-haired woman. They thought it was the body of their daughter.
Police said they found several knives near the crime scene and found the car parked near Shakir's flat. The autopsy and DNA test reports revealed that the body was not Shahraban's but Khadija's. Police arrested Shahraban and Shakir after an investigation. Police say that the accused woman wanted to disappear due to family discord, so she staged her own death and for this, she found her lookalike and killed her.
