Gautam Gambhir's first reaction came, roared to dominate Test cricket
In IND vs ENG: Anderson Tendulkar Trophy 2025, the Indian team won the last match and leveled the series 2-2 and also avoided losing the third consecutive Test series.

India completed the Test series against England in a 2-2 draw, which left the head coach Gautam Gambhir extremely pleased. The coach was confident that India would dominate Test cricket. The coach added that the players should continue to do their job and keep their minds focused.
India won by a nail-biting six runs at Kennington Oval on Monday. This victory not only prevented India from losing the third successive Test series under head coach Gautam Gambhir's term, but also quietened critics who questioned the youthful team led by Shubman Gill. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have retired from Tests. Without the experienced batsmen, the young Indian team unitedly played and performed outstandingly, exhibiting patience in the difficult English conditions.
BCCI shared a video of the dressing room, in which Gambhir said, "The way this series was tied 2-2, it is a great result. Congratulations to everyone. Remember, we will keep getting better. Keep working hard. Keep improving. If we keep doing this, we can maintain our dominance in Test cricket for a long time. People will keep coming and going, but the atmosphere of the dressing room should always be such that people want to be a part of it. Best wishes, enjoy. You can rest for a few days. You deserve every moment of this. Congratulations."
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja gave the title of 'Impact Player of the Series' to Washington Sundar for his excellent performance on the tour of England. Sundar played an important role in drawing the fourth Test by playing an unbeaten innings of 101 runs at Old Trafford in Manchester. Speaking about his successful England tour, Sundar said, "It is a privilege to play four consecutive matches at a place like England. I always wanted to perform well here. As a team, the way we played, every single day was amazing. Thank you very much for everything."
