The fire broke out on the sets of Gum Hai Kisi Ki Pyar: More than a thousand people were present, and goods worth lakhs gutted
A massive fire broke out on the sets of Star Plus' TV serial 'Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein' at around 4 pm on Friday evening. Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh's starrer set of this TV serial is in Mumbai's Goregaon Filmcity. During the incident, more than a thousand people were present on the set where a scene of children was being shot. No casualties have been reported so far.
According to the information, the fire on the set is spreading to many other sets nearby. Which also includes sets of serials like 'Teri Meri Dooriyan' and 'Ajuni'. Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, President of All India Cine Workers Association has given this information. Along with this, he has talked about registering an FIR against the Managing Director of Film City and taking action.
As soon as the fire broke out on the set, there was chaos all around. Goods worth lakhs of serial sets have been gutted in this fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. In this video that surfaced on social media, people are seen running here and there and trying to extinguish the fire. Smoke is seen coming out in the video.
All India Cine Workers Association President Suresh Shyamlal Gupta has demanded an inquiry into the incident from the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Eknath Shinde. Also demanded to register a case against the producer, production house and channel. He said, the immediate resignation of the Managing Director of Film City should be taken, whose negligence is leading to large-scale shootings in Film City without fire safety and there were no security arrangements.
