Vedhika Kumar Shines in Yakshini, Wins 'Best Debut' at OTT Play Awards 2025!

Actress Vedhika Kumar who has time and again proven her credentials and mettle in the entertainment industry with projects like Petta Rap, Kanchana 3, Muni, Paradesi, Kaalai, Shivalinga, The Body, Fear, Razakar, Ruler and many more has bagged a big and special award at the recently-held OTT Play Awards 2025. Yes, that's right. The actress has added another major milestone to her cap after winning the award for the 'Best Debut In An OTT Series' for her character of Maya in her debut OTT project 'Yakshini' currently streaming on JioHotstar (earlier Disney Plus Hotstar). Her titular role was quite a multi-dimensional and challenging one and Vedhika had put her best foot forward to get each and every nuance of the character right on-screen. Her performance in Yakshini has already fetched her a lot of critical acclaim alongside love and appreciation from the audience and now, this incredible award honour is certainly adding up to all that. The fact that she receives such a big honour in her debut series on OTT itself shows the kind of promising career she's set to have going forward in the OTT space.
