The seventh film in the hit franchise, "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One," was forced to halt production in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When filming resumed, the production team had to implement strict safety protocols to protect the cast and crew.
In addition to the pandemic, the film also faced other setbacks, including an injury to Cruise that required him to undergo surgery. Despite these challenges, the film was eventually completed and is now set to be released in theaters on July 14, 2023.
At the film's London premiere on June 24, Cruise took the opportunity to thank the cast and crew for their hard work. "I don't take anything for granted when making these films, especially with that time period," he said. "I'm just very proud of what we all did together."
