England international Harry Brook, who withdrew from IPL 2025, has been suspended for two seasons. Harry Brook was retained by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.25 crore during the IPL 2025 mega auction, but he withdrew from IPL 2025 to focus on the domestic season.

As a matter of fact, this ban has been imposed on Harry Brook as per the new guidelines. As per this, any player who signs up in the auction and becomes unavailable prior to the commencement of the season after being selected will be barred from playing in the tournament and auction for two seasons. As per a report, BCCI sources affirmed that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the concerned player were already informed about the decision. Harry Brook has withdrawn from IPL 2025 after he was selected by a team. Due to this, he will be barred from playing in the upcoming season even if he is available. This is the board's decision. All the players have been informed about this.

Harry Brook was signed by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.25 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction in November last year. Earlier also in the last auction, he was bought by Delhi for Rs 4 crore. However, earlier this week, the England cricketer announced on social media that he has withdrawn from IPL 2025 so that he can focus on his commitments with the England team.
