Electricity crisis in Britain: 27% people sleeping early to save bills

The power crisis has deepened in the UK. As a result, one in four Britons is struggling to survive the winter. With many people looking for new ways to cut their electricity bills, 27% of people in the UK are going to bed earlier than usual.
According to recent figures from the Office of National Statistics (ONS), 23 percent of people are struggling to keep their homes warm due to the increasing winter. 63 percent of people are reducing the use of electricity and gas. 96% of people are using heating devices like heaters and blowers only when needed.
When people were asked what they were doing to stay warm in winter, 82% said they were collecting and using more clothes and blankets. At the same time, 46% of people are heating only the rooms in which they live with a heating device. 31% of people are using microwave heaters and hot water bottles.
According to the first report of the year on the impact of winter, 16% of people are worried that they will not run out of food grains until they have money. 19% of people are cutting their diet. 1 out of every 5 people is waiting for a hospital appointment and treatment for health service.
