The majority of Rajasthan's rivers and streams are overflowing as a result of the ongoing heavy rains, and public life is in chaos. Ten people have died in the last three days. The Bisalpur dam in Tonk district, known as the Jaipur-Ajmer lifeline, is overflowing.

On Saturday, two additional gates were opened. On Friday, four gates opened. As a result of opening six dam gates, approximately 97 thousand cusecs of water have been released into the Banas River.

Water is being drained by opening three gates of Parvati Dam in Dholpur. The water level of this dam has reached 223.40 meters, while the filling capacity is 223.41 meters. A holiday was declared in the schools of Ajmer on Saturday. The water of the Dravyavati river came on the roads in Jaipur. According to the Meteorological Center, after September 9, rainfall activities will reduce in the state.

Jaipur Meteorological Center Director Radheshyam Sharma said that a cyclonic circulation (mixture of wind and moisture) is formed over the northeastern part of the state. Along with this, a low-pressure area is also formed over the Bay of Bengal. Due to its effect, monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next two to three days. This time the state has received 56 percent more rainfall than normal in the monsoon season. From June 1 to September 6, 615 mm of rainfall has been received as compared to the average of 395 mm.
