Diwali, Chhath Travel Rush: Railways Adds More AC Special Trains via Kota
Kota News: The Railways has decided to introduce two new special trains for passengers from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh during the festive season. These trains will operate at higher fares and will pass through Kota, providing additional convenience to passengers.
In view of Diwali and other festivals, including Chhath Puja, the Railways is operating special trains on important routes to reduce the extra passenger load. Consequently, the Railway Administration has decided to operate two more special trains for passengers traveling to Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. These special trains will operate at higher fares. Both trains will pass through Kota, providing convenience to passengers traveling from Kota to Maharashtra, Delhi, and Jaipur. Previously, five special trains have been announced, and passengers can obtain tickets through the Railways' official website.
The Bandra-Sanganer Weekly Superfast Express train, operated by the Railways, will run between October 2nd and November 28th. Train No. 09023 will depart from Bandra Terminus every Thursday at 4:45 pm, arriving at Kota at 8:25 am and Sanganer at 12:30 pm the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09024 will depart from Sanganer and Bandra Terminus every Friday at 4:50 pm, arriving at Kota at 8:10 pm and Bandra Terminus at 11:15 am the next day. The train will stop at Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Chaimhala, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, and Sawai Madhopur stations on its way to and from the station. It will be equipped with Third AC Economy, Third AC, Second AC, and First AC coaches.
This train will run from October 3 to December 1. Train No. 09309 will run from Indore to Hazrat Nizamuddin twice a week on Fridays and Sundays between October 3rd and November 30th. The train will depart Indore at 5:00 pm, reach Kota at 10:35 pm, and Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5:00 am the next day. On the return journey, Train No. 09310 will run between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Indore every Monday and Saturday between October 4th and December 1st. The train will depart Nizamuddin at 8:20 am, reach Kota at 2:35 pm, and Indore at 9:00 pm. En route, it will stop at Mathura, Bharatpur, Gangapur City, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Shamgarh, Nagda, Ujjain, and Dewas. It will have only third and second AC coaches.
