This 41-kilometer-long metro corridor will include 36 stations, helping to reduce traffic congestion and strengthen public transportation in Jaipur.

Jaipur Metro Phase-2 development plans by the Rajasthan government are progressing swiftly. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has sanctioned about ₹6,565 crore for the project after approval from the Union Cabinet.
In a meeting held in New Delhi on Friday, the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan V. Srinivas discussed the loan, progress, and various aspects of the project with ADB officials. The estimated cost of Jaipur Metro Phase-2 would be approximately ₹13,500 crore. Seven major packages have been developed as part of the project, and bids for civil works are in progress. The preparation work for other areas such as signaling, rolling stock, electrical, mechanical, tracks, and cooling will soon follow.
A new corridor of approximately 41 kilometers will be developed under Jaipur Metro Phase-2. This metro line will run from Prahladpura to Todi Mor and connect the north and south parts of the city. A total of 36 stations are proposed in the project, covering key areas such as the airport, SMS Hospital, Sitapura, VKI, and Vidyadhar Nagar. This is expected to reduce traffic congestion and boost public transport in Jaipur.
