CGST Inspector threw the bribed money of 4000 on the road on seeing ACB
In Rajasthan, ACB has arrested Central Goods and Service Tax (CGST) Inspector Narendra Singh in Pali red-handed while taking a bribe of four thousand rupees.

On Thursday, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Central Goods and Service Tax (CGST) Inspector Narendra Singh in Pali red-handed while taking a bribe of four thousand rupees. He had taken this bribe in exchange for verifying the firm sending the file and not imposing a penalty and on seeing ACB, he threw the money on the road.
Deputy Inspector General of Bureau Harendra Kumar Mahawar said that the bribe amount had been seized from Narendra Singh. The complainant alleges that he has a firm running in his house.
The CGST Inspector, Narendra Singh demanded a bribe in return for checking that the file is sent and not levying a penalty. In this matter, a complaint was lodged with ACB by the victim.
The bribe was confirmed when the Bureau conducted a discreet verification. ACB then took the complainant to the CGST inspector and instructed him to pay a bribe. The complainant handed over four thousand rupees to him.
The ACB then raided under Additional Superintendent of Police Khiv Singh, and Inspector Narendra Singh, in a move seen by everyone, took bribe money out of his pocket and scattered it onto the street, and ACB recovered it.
