Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Jump, Households Get Temporary Relief
Gas Price Hike: The impact of the deepening crisis in West Asia is now being felt in India. State-owned oil companies have once again increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a 19-kg cylinder has been increased by ₹195.50. State-owned oil companies had previously increased the price of a 19-kg cylinder by ₹114.5 on March 1.

The state-owned companies have increased the rate of commercial LPG by Rs 195.50 on Wednesday for the 19-kg cylinder. The rate of the domestic LPG cylinders, however, remains the same.
The commercial LPG cylinders are being sold at increased rates owing to the hike in global oil prices, which is caused by the ongoing war in West Asia. The 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders are now being sold at Rs 2,078.50, as per the new rate. The state-owned companies have already increased the rate of the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 114.50 on March 1.
However, the government has not made any changes to domestic LPG prices. The 14.2-kilogram cylinder was last increased by ₹60 on March 7. This cylinder is now available in Delhi for ₹913.
