Business Software Giant Zoho Ventures into Digital Payments with ‘Zoho Pay’

The online payments industry can look forward to a new entrant. Software giant for businesses Zoho is venturing into this space with 'Zoho Pay.' The app will deliver a hassle-free and secure transaction experience to the users. What's interesting is that it will not only be an independent app but also integrated into the company's messaging app, 'Arattai.'

Zoho Payments Tech CEO Sivaramakrishnan Eswaran explained that Zoho Pay aims to allow users to send, receive, and make payments seamlessly. He said, "Users will experience transactions without leaving the chat, making digital payments even easier."

The company already provides point-of-sale and business payment solutions. Now, Zoho plans to expand this service further. Additionally, the company is launching a new invoicing and subscription management platform called Zoho Billing. Work is underway to create a comprehensive financial system by connecting Zoho Payroll with banks. This will provide integrated services for small businesses, from payment collection to cash flow and automated payroll.

Presently, Zoho Pay is in its internal testing stages, and the company will introduce it phase-wise over the next few months. First, it will be integrated into the Arattai app, and subsequently, it will also be offered as a separate app.
