Nine days after his disappearance, the body of former Sikkim minister RC Poudyal was found in a canal near Siliguri in West Bengal. The police have now given information about this case. Preferably, the body of 80-year-old Poudyal was found floating in the Teesta canal, Fulbari, on Tuesday.

The police had constituted a special investigation team to trace the politician after he went missing from his hometown Chhota Singtam in Pakyong district on July 7, the official said.
