Bank of America Subsidiary Purchases Nearly 3 Lakh Reliance Shares on NSE

Bank of America Securities bought 2.95 lakh shares of Reliance Industries in an open market transaction on Thursday for about Rs 44 crore.

According to block deal data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), BofA Securities, through its subsidiary BofA Securities Europe SA, purchased 295,600 shares of Reliance Industries. BofA Securities Europe SA is a subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation.

The deal was valued at around Rs 43.62 crore and was carried out at an average price of Rs 1,475.50 apiece. On the other hand, Hong Kong-based asset management firm Cadensa Capital offloaded an equal amount of shares at the same price through its arm Kadensa Master Fund. Shares of Reliance Industries closed 0.98 percent lower at ₹1,489.50 per share on the NSE on Thursday.
