BSF jawans were attacked by Bangladeshi villagers and miscreants on the international border by Bangladeshi villagers and miscreants. Two soldiers were seriously injured in this attack. He has suffered a serious head injury. The weapons of the soldiers have also been taken away. As soon as the incident was reported, the security personnel reached the spot and took the two injured soldiers to the nearest hospital.
According to BSF, the incident took place on Sunday in the area of Nirmalchar Post 35 Battalion in the Berhampur sector of the Bengal Frontier. BSF has raised the matter in front of Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) and called a flag meeting to recover the weapons of soldiers from Bangladeshi miscreants so such incidents can be prevented.
This area, which comes in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, is bordering Bangladesh. The people of Nirmalchar village allege that Bangladeshi farmers deliberately leave their cattle in our fields to harm crops. They also come illegally to the Indian border on the same pretext. On the complaint, BSF has built a temporary outpost here for his security.
On the day of the incident, the crooks also entered the farmers, according to reports, the soldiers were doing duty on the border post-Nirmalchar on Sunday. Meanwhile, he stopped Bangladeshi farmers from entering the Indian border. On seeing this, more than a hundred farmers from Bangladesh and miscreants entered the Indian border and attacked the soldiers with sticks and sharp weapons. After this, he ran back. BSF has also lodged an FIR at Ranitala police station.
A spokesperson of the South Bengal Frontier said that when smugglers and criminals do not get success in their illegal activities, they attack the soldiers. Earlier, the soldiers have been attacked by miscreants and their colleagues, but the soldiers do not allow them to succeed in their plans.
The BSF-BGB commander-level meeting was held on 23 February in Changarbandha, 3 days before the attack. In this meeting too, issues related to crimes from across the border, illegal construction, and infiltration of Bangladeshis were discussed.
