AI agent foiled cyber attack before it could happen, became a nightmare for hackers
Google claims: In November last year, this AI successfully identified a real security flaw for the first time. Since then, this system has discovered many new flaws. Now, when technology companies are spending billions of dollars on Artificial Intelligence (AI), its abilities are all the time increasing. Now Google has asserted that its proprietary built AI agent prevented a cyber attack from occurring even before it started.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in a post on X that an AI agent named Big Sleep foiled a "cyber attack" with the help of the company's security team. This AI system has been developed by DeepMind and Project Zero and its job is to find security threats that have not yet surfaced.
