Adani Total Gas on Tuesday declared its results for the quarter ended March 2023. The company's profit increased by 21% to Rs 97.91 crore in the quarter. The profit in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 81.09 crore.
The company's revenue grew by 10.2% to Rs 1,114.8 crore, as against Rs 1,012 crore a year ago. The board has also recommended a dividend of Rs 0.25 per share for the financial year 2022-23. On Tuesday, the company's shares saw a gain of Rs 12 or 1.27%. It reached Rs 957.00.
The company said that it has built 126 new CNG stations. Now its total CNG stations have become 460. At the same time, the total number of PNG homes has increased to 7.04 lakh. The company has added more than 1.24 lakh new houses. 867 new consumers of industrial and commercial connections have been made. It has now increased to 7435.
Earlier, Adani Group's firm Adani Green Energy Limited and NDTV had announced the fourth quarter (January-March) results on Monday. Adani Green's consolidated net profit increased by 319% to Rs 507 crore in the quarter. In the same quarter last year, Adani Green's profit was Rs 121 crore.
The company's revenue also increased by 78% to Rs 2,598 crore as against Rs 1,461 crore in the same period last year. After the result, the shares of the company also saw a boom. Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said that we have set new industry standards in efficiency, performance and capacity development.
Adani Group's media company NDTV's profit plunged 97.6% due to weak ad demand. NDTV reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 59 lakh for the quarter ended March 31. A year ago it was Rs 24.16 crore. Adani Group's total stake in NDTV is 64.71%.
The company's revenue declined by 35.5% to Rs 66.96 crore in the March quarter from Rs 103.8 crore in the year-ago quarter. Commenting on the results, Gautam Adani said, 'The Adani Group is privileged to have the opportunity to grow NDTV with world-class infrastructure and talent and transform it into a multi-platform global news organisation'.
After the result, the shares of Adani Green are seeing a great boom. Adani Green had closed at Rs 951 on Monday. It opened at Rs 994.75 on Tuesday morning, rising 5%

NDTV stock opened at Rs 180.60, down nearly 5%. Later, a slight recovery was seen in the stock. It closed at Rs 185.35, down Rs 4.20 or 2.22%. NDTV stock has declined 45.45% so far this year. The share price was close to Rs 340 at the beginning of the year.
