Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently starred in the film 'Shaakuntalam', has responded to criticism about the film's poor performance by sharing a cryptic post on her Instagram page. Despite the film's highly anticipated release, it failed to impress audiences and led to a Telugu film producer named Chittibabu claiming that Samantha's career was 'finished' in an interview with a YouTube channel.

Samantha's post on Instagram featured a picture of herself along with a quote from the Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit. The quote suggests that one can only control their actions and cannot be the authority of the outcomes, and that one should not perform actions with the sole desire for rewards.

It seems that Samantha is unfazed by the negative response to her recent film, as she is set to appear in the upcoming Telugu romantic drama 'Kushi', in which she will star alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Additionally, she has a new project in the pipeline, the Indian version of the popular television series 'Citadel', in which she will star alongside Varun Dhawan.
