21 islands of Andaman and Nicobar will get the names of Paramveer Chakra winners

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will name 21 islands of Andaman-Nicobar on Monday i.e. today after 21 soldiers were honoured with Paramveer Chakra. Now, these islands don't have any names. These were known by the name of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. PM will participate in this program through video conferencing at 11 am.
During this, PM Netaji will also unveil the model of the National Memorial dedicated to Netaji to be built on Subhash Chandra Bose Island. This program is being held on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, which is celebrated as Parakram Divas.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands MP Kuldeep Rai Sharma has welcomed the government's move. He said- I am happy that the government has decided to name 21 islands of Andaman and Nicobar in honour of our brave soldiers. Kuldeep has appealed to the government to publish a book in this regard for the children of the schools so that the children can also know about the sacrifice of the soldiers of their country.
On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Andaman-Nicobar on Monday morning on a two-day tour. He will participate in the celebrations of the 126th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose here.
In 2018, the PM was on a visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Then he renamed Ross Island Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island. Along with this, Neil Island and Havelock Island were renamed as Shaheed Dweep and Swaraj Dweep.
