ZIM vs NZ 2nd Test: Matt Henry's storm is not stopping, taking wickets after every 9 runs

The second Test match is being played between New Zealand and Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, with the Kiwi team bowling out the hosts for 125 runs in just 48.5 overs on the first day. Zimbabwe, who won the toss and elected to bat first, paid a heavy price for their decision. The host team lost the wicket of Brian Bennett (0) early after opening the innings. From there, Brandon Taylor began trying to steady the team. He formed small partnerships with Nick Welch (11), Sean Williams (11), and captain Craig Ervine (7).

Brendan Taylor was dismissed after scoring 44 runs with six fours off 107 balls. Apart from him, Tafadzwa Siiga played an unbeaten innings of 33 runs in 54 balls but couldn't take the team to a respectable total. For New Zealand, Matt Henry claimed five wickets for 40 runs in 15 overs, while Jack Faulks took four wickets for 38 runs in 16 overs. The remaining wicket was taken by Matthew Fisher.

This is a do-or-die match for Zimbabwe. The team had lost the first Test of the series by nine wickets on the same ground. In that match, Zimbabwe was all out for 149 runs in the first innings, with Matt Henry taking six wickets. In response, New Zealand scored 307 runs, gaining a lead of 158 runs.
