World's largest Muslim country will buy India's Brahmos missile, demand for Indian weapons increased in the world

Weapons 'Made in India' are being seen all over the world. Meanwhile, after the Philippines, there is news that Indonesia can be China's second neighbor with the capability of the India-made Brahmos missile. This is because Indonesia has also become a fan of this Brahmos missile.

Actually, talks between the governments of India and Indonesia had been going on for quite some time, but now talks have reached another level. The Defence Ministry of the Indonesian government which was initially worried over the price of Brahmos has agreed to talk about it.

India has also assured the Indonesian side that it will take full care of its sensitivities regarding its price. India is also ready to arrange for an easy loan.

With talks between the two countries on this issue, there is a possibility of serious discussions during the upcoming visit of President Prabowo Subianto to India. Subianto will be the state guest of India on the occasion of Republic Day this year. This will be the fourth occasion after 1950 when the President of Indonesia will be the state guest on India's Republic Day. India has very old cultural and historical relations with Indonesia.

Recently, during the G-20 summit, PM Narendra Modi had a bilateral meeting with Subianto. The President of Indonesia will visit Malaysia after his visit to India. Recently, the news was published in the Pakistani media that the President of Indonesia will go directly to Pakistan after his visit to India. It has been India's diplomacy that it urges foreign guests not to go directly to Pakistan from its land.

Earlier, the US and Gulf countries' administrators used to visit India and Pakistan together, but India is opposing it now. Probably keeping in mind the request of India, the Indonesian President has decided not to visit Pakistan. Recently, Indonesia's Defense Minister Safri Samsodin admitted that talks are going on with India regarding the BrahMos missile. Defense Minister Samsodin had said that many dimensions of defense relations with India are going to open.

Worth mentioning here, a high-level team related to the Ministry of Defense of Indonesia visited India in December 2024, during which the work of assessing BrahMos according to the defense needs of Indonesia was done. Sources say that the Indonesian team has termed BrahMos as perfect for Indonesia.

Indonesia too, has begun its campaign to strengthen its Air Force. India is also holding discussions with Vietnam on the sale of this missile system built with the help of Russia. The Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam are China's neighboring countries in the South China Sea and China has a dispute with all three of them.
