Western Disturbance Brings Severe Cold to Rajasthan, Temperatures Drop Further
Rajasthan Weather: The persistent western disturbance has intensified the effects of winter in Rajasthan. A cold wave is sweeping through several districts, causing temperatures to drop by 3-4 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued a dense fog alert in 11 districts. Cloudy skies prevail in many areas, including Jaipur. Rain and hailstorms have intensified the cold.
Due to the prevailing western disturbance in the state of Rajasthan, the severe cold is likely to prevail for the next one to two weeks. The cold wave is likely to prevail over a number of districts today. The temperatures in the state are likely to fall by 3-4 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued a dense fog alert in 11 districts of the state on Wednesday. A number of districts in the state have been experiencing dense clouds since this morning. The cold has again intensified in the state after the thunderstorm, rain, and hailstorm that occurred in the state on Tuesday. After the rain and hailstorm, the skies cleared late in the evening, leading to fog and mist at night. Light fog was observed in areas of Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, and Jaisalmer. According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the current system has increased humidity in the state, which is likely to lead to dense fog on Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, northerly winds will become active today, bringing a chilly morning and evening, as well as daytime temperatures, and temperatures may drop by 3 to 4 degrees. Clear weather is expected on January 30th.
