West Zone team announces coaching staff, player who did not play a single international match made head coach
West Zone, Daleep Trophy 2025: West Zone Convenor Abhay Hadap said in a release issued here today, "The team will be led by a highly experienced and skilled group of professionals, who are dedicated to ensuring that the players are fully prepared for this prestigious domestic competition."

West Zone has made a significant decision before the Duleep Trophy tournament to be played in Bengaluru from August 28. He has made former Mumbai batter Kiran Powar the team's head coach.
West Zone Convenor Abhay Hadap said in a release issued here today, "The team will be led by a highly experienced and skilled group of professionals, who are dedicated to ensuring that the players are fully prepared for this prestigious domestic competition."
He said, "This diverse team of experts brings extensive knowledge in sports science, physical conditioning and strategic analysis. Their collective expertise is expected to provide immense support to the West Zone team throughout the tournament as they aim to achieve victory."
Other than Powar, Pallav Vora has been named as assistant coach, Dr Jaydev Pandya as the physio, Mahesh Patil as strength and conditioning coach, Pradeep Singh Champawat as analyst and Akash Chaudhary as masseur. Datta Mithbawkar will be the team manager.
