Wasim Akram got angry at Pakistan player's absurd allegations, said- What are you blaming me for?

In the 33rd match of the World Cup 2023 played against Sri Lanka, the Indian bowlers bowled brilliantly and bundled out the entire team for just 55 runs. During this, Mohammed Shami took five wickets and Mohammed Siraj took three wickets. This brilliant performance of the Indian bowlers was not seen by former Pakistan cricketer Hasan Raza and he made strange allegations against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Hasan Raza said that when India bats, the pitch is different and the bowlers do not get swing. But when India bowls on the same pitch, it starts getting swing. The Pakistani player alleged that ICC gives different balls to Indian bowlers and changes the ball during Indian bowling. Now former fast bowler Wasim Akram has given a sharp reaction to his statement.

Wasim Akram said, 'I want to know what they are blowing these days. Even I need. Because their mind is not in place. They think it's a joke. You have to insult yourself, don't insult us. This is a very simple thing. The umpire comes before the match. He has a box of 12 balls. The team bowling first picks two balls and the umpire keeps them as its own. He takes the eight balls to another dressing room. The batting team also picks two balls. The umpire keeps this ball to himself.

Akram further said, 'How can a device be fitted to the ball and how will it swing? Indian bowlers should be praised. He has taught. He has worked on his bowling. During this time Shoaib Malik was also sitting there. The owner said, 'When someone does good, he should be praised and not faulted. Indian bowlers work hard and its effect is visible.

Hasan Raza had said on a TV channel that 'Indian players play well when they are batting, but whenever India starts bowling, bowlers like Shami and Siraj look just like we do in South Africa. Allen used to play with Donald and Makhaya Ntini. The ball we used to play in South Africa had shone on one side and not on the other. The ball used to reverse, and the seam used to swing. But here I feel the ball has been changed. Whatever balls are being given by ICC or BCCI, I think these balls should be inspected.
