One of the huge temples, Chandrodaya Temple is being built in Uttar Pradesh. The construction work is going on at a fast pace in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. This temple is going to be among the tallest temples in the world. In fact, it would be beautiful such that it would be worth seeing. It will also becme a center of attraction for the tourists coming to Mathura. It is being said that this temple will compete with Burj Khalifa. The Taj Mahal can also be seen from the top of this temple.

Chandrodaya Mandir in Vrindavan is being constructed by ISKCON, that is, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Its foundation stone was laid by the then-President Pranab Mukherjee on 16 November 2014. It would contain about 166 floors, which no temple in the world possesses.

It is also said that the height of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be about 700 feet, which is three times more than the 72.5-meter Qutub Minar in Delhi. This is the reason that when this temple is completed, then it will be counted among the tallest temples in the world. The depth of its foundation is three times more than that of the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa.

This temple with 166 floors will be shaped like a pyramid. The highest storey of the temple has been named Braj Mandal Darshan. 12 forests described in Shrimad Bhagwat and other scriptures have been created around the temple. The construction work of this temple is being done at a cost of more than Rs 700 crore. The specialty of this temple is that it can withstand an earthquake on an 8-Richter scale.

While constructing the temple, extra precautions are being taken to ensure that not even a storm of 170 km per hour can shake the temple. This temple is spread over 70 acres. Which also includes car parking and a helipad. If somebody sees the whole temple, then it may take three to four days. There are 511 pillars in the whole temple. The weight of the whole temple on these will fall to 5 lakh tonnes.

This will be the most modern temple so far, in which the use of 4D technology is being done. Darshan of Devlok and Devlilas can also be performed here. Many libraries will also be built along with the temple to know the life leelas of Shri Krishna. A Krishna theme park has also been built here. There will be a light and sound show in it. 10 thousand devotees can gather in the temple simultaneously.
