One of the huge temples, Chandrodaya Temple is being built in Uttar Pradesh. The construction work is going on at a fast pace in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. This temple is going to be among the tallest temples in the world. In fact, it would be beautiful such that it would be worth seeing. Chandrodaya Mandir in Vrindavan is being constructed by ISKCON, that is, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Its foundation stone was laid by the then-President Pranab Mukherjee on 16 November 2014. It would contain about 166 floors, which no temple in the world possesses.
It is also said that the height of the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir will be about 700 feet, which is three times more than the 72.5-meter Qutub Minar in Delhi. This is the reason that when this temple is completed, then it will be counted among the tallest temples in the world. The depth of its foundation is three times more than that of the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa.
