Urvashi Rautela Files Defamation Case Against Film Critic Umair Sandhu Over False Allegations

Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, known for her scintillating beauty and acting prowess, has filed a defamation case against film critic Umair Sandhu over false allegations. Recently, pictures from Rautela's upcoming pan Indian film, Agent, got leaked online. Sandhu, known for his vulgar and false tweets, tweeted false allegations on the Agent team that Urvashi was uncomfortable over the behavior of her co-star, Akhil Akkineni. The actress immediately took to her social media to refute the claims and slammed Sandhu for his spurious tweets. In her tweet, Rautela confirmed that a defamation legal notice has been served by her legal team and called out Sandhu as an immature journalist who made her and her family extremely uncomfortable.

Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Rambrahmam Sunkara, has been adapted from a story written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The movie has been shot in Budapest and is set for a theatrical release on 28 April 2023. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the electrifying chemistry between Urvashi and Akhil on the big screen.

Apart from Agent, Urvashi Rautela has been busy with multiple projects, including her Hollywood debut opposite Michele Morrone from 365 Days. She was most recently seen alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in Waltair Verrayaa's Boss Party song, which became the biggest party anthem. Urvashi will next be seen alongside Ram Pothineni and Randeep Hooda in Inspector Avinash and Black Rose, respectively. She will also appear in the Hindi version of the Tamil film Thiruttu Payale 2.
