Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 10: Marathi songs in our dialect and title songs of Marathi serials are becoming very popular. The Musician duo who have composed the title songs and trending songs of some such popular serials are Kunal Bhagat and Karan Sawant. He was recently awarded ‘Best Popular Title Track’ Award for the television serial ‘Yogayogeshwar Jaishankar’ at a Colors Marathi 2023 Award. Earlier, he was honoured with ‘Best Popular Title Song’ award for the ‘Yogayogeshwar Jaishankar’ serial at the ‘Big Marathi Entertainment’ awards ceremony. Moreover, composer Kunal Karan has also received the nomination of ‘Best Original Music with Lyrics’ for the serial ‘Band Baja Varat’ at the ‘Promax India’ ceremony.
So far, he has done Mahaminister, Kitchen Kallakar, Bas Bai Bas, Nava Gadi Nava Rajya, and Band Baja Varat title track of as many as 15 such serials have been composed.
Commenting on the awards, composer Kunal Karan says, “Getting the award for ‘Best Popular Title Track’ and ‘Best Popular Title Track’ for the serial ‘Yogayogeshwar Jai Shankar’ first at Big Marathi Entertainment and now Colors Marathi Awards is a dream come true for us. As an artist, We always want that you. The work you do should get a lot of love and applause from the audience. We are very happy that the audience is getting so much love today. After engineering, we both decided to do what we liked. Today, neither of us regrets that decision.”
