The sale of tickets has started for the T20 World Cup 2024 to be played in the West Indies and the United States of America (USA). ICC has opened the ticket window for only 7 six days. Yanoi tickets can be booked only till 7 February 2024. It is noteworthy that the T20 World Cup will be held in 9 cities of West Indies and America between June 1 and 29 this year.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), this time tickets are not being sold on a first come first serve basis. To book tickets, fans will have to visit the official site of the T20 World Cup. Tickets can be booked till 7th February by visiting the t20worldcup.com website. A person is allowed to book a maximum of 6 tickets only.

More than 2.60 lakh tickets have been issued for group stage, Super-8 and semi-finals. The price of each ticket varies according to its category. Tickets are available for US$25 and under. The cheapest ticket for the World Cup starts from around Rs 500 according to US Dollar 6 Indian currency.

A total of 20 teams will participate in the T20 World Cup 2024. All the teams have been divided into four groups of five each. A total of 55 matches will be played in this tournament which will last for 29 days. This many matches will be played for the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup. There will be 40 group-stage matches from June 1 to 18. The teams of each group will play one match each among themselves. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the next stage.

12 matches of Super-8 will be played from 19 to 24 June. The top two teams of each group will participate here. A total of eight teams will play one match each. From here the top four teams will reach the knockout stage. The first semi-final will be played in Guyana on June 26 and the second semi-final in Trinidad on June 27. After this, the final match will be played between the winners of both the semi-finals in Barbados on 29 June.
