Various schemes are being run by the government for women. Now all savings schemes have been made mandatory from Aadhaar to PAN card and Aadhaar card. If in any scheme like the Public Provident Fund (PPP), Senior Citizen Saving Scheme (SCSS), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), or Mahila Samman Yojana, the account of the scheme holder is not linked to a PAN card and Aadhaar card, then it Will not be able to invest in this scheme now.
If you also have a Sukanya account and do not link your account with PAN and Aadhaar, then your account will be frozen. If your account gets frozen then you will not be able to get the benefit of this scheme again. In such a situation, the plan holder may also have to face many losses.
The central government has started the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana for the education and marriages of daughters. This scheme is completely a government scheme. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the girls and women of the country. Taking advantage of this scheme, daughters born in the family get financial assistance. This makes her financially empowered. In this scheme, the scheme holder gets 8 percent interest. The amount deposited in this scheme matures after 2 years.
According to a notification, the Finance Ministry has made Know Your Customer (KYC) mandatory for all small savings schemes. The scheme holder needs to provide PAN or fill out Form 60. If you have not submitted a PAN card at the time of account opening, then you have to submit an Aadhaar card within two months. If you have opened an account after March 31, 2023, then it is necessary to link Aadhaar with PAN.
