INDU19 vs ENGU19: The first youth test between India and England Under-19 cricket team ended in a draw. English captain Hamza Sheikh scored a brilliant century and deprived India of victory. The captain of the England Under-19 team scored 112 runs in 140 balls with the help of 11 fours and two sixes. Apart from Hamza, Ben Mayes and Thomas Ryu played an important role in drawing the match by scoring half-centuries.

The England side was pursuing a total of 350 runs. The host team scored 270 runs in 63 overs while losing 7 wickets till stumps on the last day. Thus, England did not allow India to win. The second and last Test match of the series between the two sides will begin in Chelmsford from Sunday 20 July.
Hamza Sheik contributed significantly towards England being in the game. He scored 112 runs from 140 balls with the assistance of 11 fours and two sixes. He was unfortunate and lost his wicket being run out. Nevertheless, Hamza Sheik received a good support from Ben Mayes, who hit 51 runs from 82 balls with the assistance of three fours.
