SpiceJet: Flights from Kolkata-Delhi to Pakyong airport of Sikkim resumed, know what will be the schedule
SpiceJet: Airlines SpiceJet has resumed its flight operations from Kolkata and Delhi to Pakyong Airport in Sikkim. Flights will operate five days a week on the Delhi-Pakyong route.
SpiceJet, a budget airline, has begun flying again to Pakyong airport in Sikkim from Delhi and Kolkata. Travel between Delhi and Pakyong will be possible five days a week. On the Kolkata-Pakyong route, flights will run every day. In a statement released on Thursday, the airline provided these details.
The airline said we are happy to expand connectivity to Ayodhya and Pakyong ahead of the upcoming busy travel season. With the expansion of the fleet, we are ready to launch flights on new routes and restore services to key ones,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet. The airline's services resumed on 31 March.
Acting Airport Director (APD) of Pakyong Airport BT Pote said the resumption of flight services to Pakyong Airport during summer will facilitate the large number of tourists visiting the Himalayan state. He further said, since the resumption of services, all flights are full. The weather is very good and we are fully prepared to maintain flights to the airport even during monsoon. He said that road connectivity from all parts of the state and surrounding areas to the airport is also good for hassle-free travel of tourists.
