Shrimant Jha again waved the tricolor, won silver in World Para Arm Wrestling Cup

India's number-1 para-athlete, Shrimant Jha, yet again hoisted the tricolor of India high in triumph. In the over 85 kg section, at the recently concluded World Para Arm Wrestling Cup 2025 in Uzbekistan, he bagged a silver medal. India's hero, Shrimant Jha, pledged to sacrifice a silver medal for India's martyred soldiers. The competition will run between 30 January and 6 February 2025.
Srimant Jha won a silver with a triumph over Kazakhstan's Elnur. Having won a silver medal, Shrimant qualified for the European Para Arm Wrestling Championship in Norway.
Srimant Jha said that he has prepared well for the international competition and will focus on the upcoming international tournament. He further said, “This is a special victory for me. I win every match to honor the martyred soldiers. Now I will focus on the upcoming international tournament. I will definitely try to make India proud again.
Srimant is a resident of Bhilai in Chhattisgarh. He has already proved his mettle in many national and international competitions and has demonstrated his talent and won many gold medals. Jha, who has won 50 international medals so far, is the World No. 3 and Asia's No. 1 para-arm wrestler.
Arm Wrestling President Preeti Jhingani, Chhattisgarh Arm Wrestling President G Suresh Babe, Chairman Brij Mohan Singh, Secretary Srikant, and Coach Rishabh Jain congratulated and wished him on winning the silver medal.
